Never feel pressured to sign a tenancy agreement! It is a legally-binding contract from the moment you sign it!

The Student Support and Advice Team are here to help all students, new or continuing, with any questions or concerns that they may have about their accommodation whilst studying at the University of Lincoln.

For most first year university students this will be the first time you will sign a tenancy agreement. It is very important that you understand what your responsibilities are and if things go wrong, what rights you have and where you can get help.

Specialist advisers located in the Student Support and Advice Centre can advise you regarding any housing options.  To book a confidential telephone appointment with an adviser, please email studentsupport@lincoln.ac.uk or telephone 01522 837080.

You could also try the following Student Accommodation Quiz. Test your knowledge on all things renting!  The quiz covers all aspects of the student property arena from the basics to tricky legal issues.
